Mountain Getaway At The Strawberry Inn

Whether you are planning a trip to Strawberry, Arizona or are just driving through, here is one place you will want to add to your itinerary! The Strawberry Inn is the cutest boutique hotel with 2 property sites and the perfect spot for a mountain getaway. First, there is the main hotel, where the rooms are clean, cozy and have cute decor. Outside you will find swinging benches and patio chairs. There is also corn hole and the Windmill Coffee shop, where you can walk just outside your room for a cup of joe!

The second is just around the corner from the hotel, where you can stay in an airstream suite, tiny cottage or even a cabin. They each offer a homey feel and are complimented by gorgeous views. You are close to hiking trails and are guaranteed to see the elk wondering about! Either room type you choose at the Strawberry Inn, you are in for a treat!!

Once you arrive, the check in process is seamless! You are given a code to get in the room and that is your room key for your entire stay. Its easier than checking in with a front desk, in my opinion and this way, there is no room key to lose! Check out instructions are emailed to you and its as easy as that!

Places To Eat

Below are my favorite places to eat while in Strawberry. However, upon arrival at the Strawberry Inn, they provide a fun optional itinerary for you with some of their favorite local spots!

Breakfast: The Early Bird 3618 AZ-87, Pine, AZ 85544

The plates are large and the food is great!

Lunch: Pinewood Tavern 6112 Hardscrabble Mesa Rd, Pine, AZ 85544

The burgers are huge and quite good! If you feel like drinking, get the fishbowl margarita! It’s big enough for 2, even 3 people! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Dinner: Old County Inn 502 AZ-87, Pine, AZ 85544

The pizza and cocktails are amazing! If you are in town on the weekend, definitely stop by to check out the live music! Plan on arriving a little early as it can get pretty packed. You’ll want to snag seat!

Snack: PIEbar AZ 5096 AZ-87, Strawberry, AZ 85544

Walk across the street and get yourself an empanta! They are DELICIOUS!

Things To Do:

Hike! The views are gorgeous! You can take a scenic drive to the lake! Better yet, grab a paddle board and go explore the lake! Stop by the Rusty Pine Cone to rent bikes to stroll around in! Take a look at the gift shops and of course the Honey Stand for some goodies.

Whatever you do, relax and enjoy your stay! XO
