Away Spa at W Scottsdale

I have lived in Arizona my entire life and I cannot believe that only just recently found the Away Spa at W Scottsdale. Whether you are visiting or an AZ native, this is a definite MUST! The Away Spa is located inside the W Scottsdale Hotel, which recently went through a gorgeous remodel – you won’t want to miss the photos at the end of this article, it’s way too pretty to not show you guys!

Check-In

Let’s start with checking in to Away Spa, the staff is friendly and welcoming and my favorite part… the front desk is also a bar! After learning this, I knew this spa was for me! The entrance is bright, clean and white. The whole vibe is relaxing and so aesthetically pleasing!

Once checked in, you head over to the locker room and let me tell you, it is unlike any locker room I’ve ever been in. Here, you have a locker with a silky soft robe and slippers waiting for you to change into. This room also has a shower, steam room, restrooms and all the accessories you could ask for including but not limited to a blow dryer, q-tips, shower caps and more! Once you’ve changed into your robe and cloud-like slippers, you head over to the “chill lounge”. This is where you wait for your designated person to come grab you! The chill lounge is cute, dimly lit and offers fruit infused water and snacks.

Massage Time

During my visit, I took my mom for her birthday and we both got massages. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This was without a doubt, the best massage I have ever had. My mom said the same! It was truly a great experience. I had the Reset massage and my mom had the Go Deep massage. You can click here to see the massage types they offer. Beyond massages, they also offer facials, nail and hair services and even waxing!

Once you are done with your service, you head back to the lockers to clean up and get changed. I took advantage of the shower and was expecting the soap to be like the hotel soap, you know the kind! The kind that immediately dries you out upon it touching your body. Not here!! I was pleasantly surprised at how moisturizing it was and how great it smelled!

After we were all refreshed, we checked out where we were greeted with a “detox shot”. That was just the cherry on top! It was in a cute little glass jar and sealed the experience with a good taste in our mouths! Quite literally!! 🙂

Party Time

Since we were feeling all relaxed and loose, my mom and I headed up to the roof top to check out the Cottontail Lounge to see the bar and pool! Oh em GEE! It is so stinking cute! Just check out the photos! I wish we had more time to enjoy the pool but we had other birthday plans to attend to. Long story short, you need to get your gal pals together and plan a visit to the Away Spa inside the W Scottsdale hotel. I already cannot wait to return to this beautiful oasis!
